Dr. Martin graduated from Florida State University College of Medicine in 2014. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in 2017 and his Cardiology Fellowship at Northwell Health/Hofstra School of Medicine in 2020. Subsequently, he completed a Critical Care Fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center/Albert Einstein School of Medicine in 2021.

After graduation, he stayed as an Assistant Professor/Academic Intensivist for the Critical Care Department at Montefiore Medical Center for 1 year, where he also worked as a Cardiologist at Essen Medical Center in Bronx, NY. Shortly after, he moved to Florida and worked as a Cardiologist at a private practice providing services for Memorial Healthcare Network. He started working as an Intensivist for NuView in 2022.
