Dr. Ludwig serves as President of NuView Health. He has extensive experience managing large pulmonary/critical care groups, intensivist programs, and multi-specialty physician groups throughout the country. Dr. Ludwig began his career in private practice, establishing Pulmonary Associates, which grew to a 6-physician pulmonary and critical care practice with staff privileges at four hospitals. In 1996, Dr. Ludwig helped merge multiple specialty practices, forming Medical Specialists of the Palm Beaches, one of the largest multi-specialty practices in Florida, consisting of over 60 physicians. Dr. Ludwig served as both President and Vice President, remaining on the Board of Directors for over 10 years. In 2004, Dr. Ludwig founded ICC Healthcare (Intensive Care Consortium), developing and implementing dedicated intensivist programs across the state of Florida, Georgia, Virginia, and New Jersey. ICC is the largest intensivist group in the country. Combining several health care services, Dr. Ludwig established NuView Health in 2006, introducing Telehealth solutions in 2008.
Dr. Ludwig, a native of Canada, obtained his M.D. from the University of Manitoba Medical School. His postgraduate training was at the University of Minnesota, where he was a resident and chief resident in Internal Medicine and a pulmonary fellow. After completing his training, Dr. Ludwig was appointed an Assistant Professor of Medicine. Currently, he is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.
